This text
applies to the privacy of the phones and tablets where the Hogia Trackit
application is installed.
Hogia
Trackit allows the user to use the phones and the tablet's built-in GPS
function to send positions to a Web application with Map View, so that the
transport planner can efficiently distribute orders to cars. The transport
manager can search for history (90 days back in time) in
order to handle customer complaints.
The app
uses the device location to select vehicle and company who will be allowed to
see the positions that Trackit sends with the phone's built-in GPS function. By
starting and stopping the positioning in the Trackit app, the user can choose
whether to send positions.
The user is
asked the first time trying to use device if the user wants to use location
functionality. If he answers yes, he does not get any more questions about it.
If he chooses to answer no, the question will be reset.
The login
and access to information is individual. The mailaddress
used to login is sent to the server in order to
monitor incorrect or unauthorized access. The user information (mailaddress) is only used in the serverlog
and is not displayed to users in the web interface. The mail addresses and
positions are transferred to the server.
Location
information is
stored on the server for 90 days. Data is securely transferred from Hogia's services. The user's identity is credited via login
and only invited users have permission to log in.
Hogia does
not sell or transfer data from the application to third parties unless
otherwise agreed.
